Who
we are Twocats pel Gospel was given birth in September 2000, out from a group of friends’ wish to create a gospel choir. Very soon we had the good fortune of finding an outstanding leader, whose name is Sonia Moreno. From then on, we started our rehearsals, and the small initial group increased steadily as the happy singers spread the word. From the very beginning we had in the Sant Ferran Church a home where to sing regularly. This is the reason why we had our public debut in January 2001 at the Choirs’ Meeting of Sant Antoni, the quarter of Barcelona of which Sant Ferran is the main church. The effort was worth it, and the good sensations motivated us to keep on working. Since that first performance the group has become more mature, both from the musical and the human points of view; this has been a process made of the rehearsals, workshops, exchanges, concerts and other activities realized during its lifetime. In 2002 we named ourselves "Twocats pel Gospel", and constituted the group as an association.
